2. In this Law, unless the context otherwise requires-

“Commissioner” means the Commissioner appointed under section 3;

“revised edition” means the new and revised edition of the Laws of Cyprus to be prepared under the authority of this Law;

“the 1949 edition” means the revised edition of the Laws of Cyprus prepared by Sir Harry Herbert Trusted, Q.C., under the authority of the Cyprus Laws (New Edition) Law, 1950.
