Protective clothing and appliances
58.-(1) Where in any factory workers are employed εις οιανδήποτε φόρτωσιν, εκφόρτωσιν ή μεταφοράν ή in any process involving excessive exposure to wet or to any injurious or offensive substance, suitable protective clothing and appliances, including, where necessary, suitable gloves, footwear, goggles and head coverings, shall be provided and maintained for the use of such workers.
(2) No person engaged in close proximity to moving machinery shall wear or be permitted to wear loose outer clothing and in the case of females they shall wear their hair in a cap or net to be provided and maintained by the employer.
